Sarah Palin quit her job as Governor of the State of Alaska a year and a half early rather than
"just accept that lame duck status, hit the road, draw the paycheck, and “milk it”.
The Sarah Palin Goodbye Tour is a limited engagement of three and a half weeks only:
So far Sarah has appeared in Juneau, Dillingham, Kotzebue, Homer, Fairbanks, McGrath, the McNeil River bear sanctuary,Unalakleet, and tonight she's back in Juneau again. The tour winds up in Fairbanks on July 26th!

Lucky for us she's tweeting all the way. As I fall asleep tonight I will be comforted by Sarah's latest words of wisdom - just received via Twitterberry:

the hair is looking very old, hillbillyish...do something about your scraggly hair SP
You would think she would want to make a stop at a nursing home or two, make sure everyone is still alive. Sarah has got to be the worst governor alive. She sees her job as showing up to events, tossing out some word salad to the crowds, and tweeting nonsense.
How much more can she "milk it" by continuing to charge the state per diem while she lives in her own home?
After reading these tweets the last week or two, I know now she was definitely forced to quit. Sarah gets off on appearances and having her title, she would never give that up if she absolutely didn't have to.
Silly Sarah is so, so BUSY these days!! Traveling! Twitting! Trying to hurry and make some kind of positive legacy in three weeks' time! Which makes me think, if she had taken this much interest in the state of Alaska and its residents all along, she probably would not have had half the image problems she did. (Well, okay, she still would have sounded like a dope whenever she opened her mouth, but at least she could have been actually doing her job at the same time.)
Thanks to The Wasilla Quitter for a great example of how to step it up and proGRESS around the court like a turkey with your head cut off, AFTER the game is over.
"no rain, no rainbow"? she's gone from quoting plato (incorrectly) to quoting Sprint commercials?
LOL - Is that really from a Sprint commercial?!?
"No Rain, No Rainbow" - I got it from a Hawaiian T-Shirt... ;)
The ADN also notes:
Palin hasn't done a series of rural bill signings like this in her previous two years as governor.

She's going to cram it all into three and a half weeks!
One week till "Screen Door Saturday."
As in--Don't let the screen door hit you in the a**, Sarah.
She's almost gone from Alaska!!!! But then what? Just imagine the "unpolitically correct" tweets! I am scared(LOL)!
Bree, I don't know about the t-shirt but Sprint-Nextel's newest commercial is something about if movie crews were wedding planners. Bride comes out (at start of the ad) asking why is it raining, the wedding planner uses her nextel blackberry to order the rain to stop and the grip shuts off a rain machine saying "no rain - no rainbow".
Wow - thanks! That's hilarious :)
